On Friday Jordan broke the news that The UMass Medical School is buying Biotech Park - in a multimillion dollar deal. The potential ramification for Worcester tax payers: Roughly $2MIL in property taxes lost as the parcel goes to the non profit.
According to sources later in the show, UMass will pay taxes on the property. How much? We don't know yet. Stay tuned
