"The Lineup"

Each week WTAG Tonight brings you the biggest variety of guests on the air.

Holy Cross Football is back on WTAG. Tune in each Satruday to hear all the action. Then tune in to WTAG Tonight each week as we wrap up the weekend's action with Holy Cross Coach Tom Gilmore.

Chris Forsberg - ESPNBoston.com columnist - joins me to talk about what's up the Big 4. Is AARP the offical sponsor of the '10-'11 Boston Celtics? Will The B's trade Tim Thomas? Is this Randy Moss' last season as a Patriot? What do the Sox do this offseason to rebound? We'll cover those and anything else goin on.

Brendan Melican calls in as we hit upon a wide array of topics - education, stupid people, technology, stupid people, politics, stupid people... I see a pattern here. Check out his
blog.

Looking for your fix of local news? Well you've got a new option. CentralMassNews.com is a great source for local news from 'The Ring Towns' as I call them - the communities surrounding Worcester. We'll talk to the people out there covering the stories that effect your everyday lives.

When Hockey season is in full swing, WTAG Tonight is your only local option for all things Worcester Sharks. Whether it's players, coaches, or the people who cover the Sharks, you'll hear them right here.

Each week during the High School year, we highlight a student athlete with the WTAG Molinari Insurance Player of the Week.
Click here for more info & tune in Wednesday's to hear some of Worcester County's outstanding young men and women on the show.

We continue our baseline to baseline coverage of High School Sports with "The Dean of The Hardwood" Craig Holt. The local scribe has seen it all in his time covering sports for The T & G, The Landmark, The Clinton Item, and others.

Each week during the football season Rich Garven from the Telegram & Gazette joins in to talk Patriots football.  We'll break down the upcoming game and give you our predictions (Rich is usually more right than I).

Other 'Friends' of the Show

Charter TV3's Dynamic Duo - Kevin Shea and Andy Lacombe - frequently chime in while out on the road as they cover local High School Athletics.

Absolutely Ridiculous

So not only did New York get dumped on by mother nature - getting the brunt of the snowfall from the recent storm - some city residents got 'dumped on' by city workers clearing snow. Because of some foul language by the person who filmed it, if I post it here there is a good chance the FCC will come down on me with the wrath of a thousand men and I won't be in for Polito in the morning tomorrow (that actually doesn't sound so bad now that I think of it...).

But if you click on the link to YouTube.com and search for NY's Dumbest, you'll find the video. Enjoy!

It's No Rockerfeller Center, But....

Jeremy Shulkin from The Daily Worcesteria with a great piece yesterday about a bunch of people in the community coming together to give the City an actual working skating rink. No, it won't be behind City Hall. But Crompton Park will be a busy place this winter.

What Could Have Been
Monday 12-27-2010 1:18pm ET

Mother Nature put the screws to us again. Not so much because of the snow today. More because the snow caused the cancellation of an exhibition game between the Holy Cross Hockey Team and the Russian Red Stars Junior United Team.  What would have been a unique opportunity to see international talent up close and personal at the Hart Center is all for not. Here's the story.
