WORCESTER — Police confirmed this morning that the body of suspected marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev is no longer in the city.
"As a result of our public appeal for help a courageous and compassionate individual came forward to provide the assistance needed to properly bury the deceased," police said in a news release this morning.
"His body is no longer in the city of Worcester and is now entombed."
Officials did not say where.
The police department thanked the community that provided the burial site, but did not reveal where it is.
