The Five New York City Police Department Police Unions have established a Disaster Relief Fund to provide immediate assistance to Officers directly affected by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy. The goal of the Fund is to provide monetary and grant relief for members of the New York City Police Dept. and Police Officers in the State of New York that have suffered economic loss as a result of a catastrophic disaster. NYPD alone has over 1500 members directly affected by the storm not to mention many others from other agencies. These officers have lost homes, automobiles, clothes and many are living with relatives and friends. The difference for these officers as compared to others who have sustained these losses is they still go to work everyday to help out others who have been affected. The Worcester Police Officers and Police Officials have been in contact with members of the New York Police Disaster Relief. They are in desperate need of cleaning supplies to help those whose homes are not completely devastated to begin working on the next step. We are looking for donations to be made, in the form of cleaning supplies, or if you choose you can donate monetarily. Every dollar raised goes back out, 100%, to a brother officer.

If Donating: Checks can be made payable to:   New York Police Disaster Relief Fund. 233 Broadway, Suite 1801 New York, NY 10279
